Who is our fiscal sponsor?
Starlight’s official fiscal sponsor is K911 Animal Rescue, our favorite nonprofit! K911 rescues abandoned and displaced cats & dogs who would otherwise remain on the streets and/or be euthanized. Because of their home-based foster volunteers they can help give abandoned, abused, and displaced cats and dogs a chance at forever homes.
K911 also works to educate the community to help reduce the number of senseless deaths by pet overpopulation and disease. They pay for all the necessary vetting of each animal prior to adoption. Every K911 pet is spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines.

Not only is your donation to Starlight tax deductible, but 5% of your donation goes to helping K911 continue their work to save puppies and kittens!
Our little studio is not so little anymore! Our student body HAS quickly outgrown OUR ORIGINAL HOME ON aLHAMBRA aVE and WE ARE MOVING SOMEWHERE BIGGER AND BETTER!
What a journey these last few years have been! We opened our doors in 2019, only a few months before the Covid-19 pandemic would change the world. We then had to shut down for 11 months, reopening and rebuilding all over again with online and outdoor classes. We officially re-opened to in-person classes in September of 2021. Just a few years later we can't believe how far we've come! In 2024 we put on 9 different musicals and 3 dance productions for a total of 48 performances! We went to 5 competitions, Disneyland, and Knotts Berry Farm. We ran 6 competitive dance teams, 4 competitive theatre teams, and offered educational programs in 12 local schools and homeschool programs!
We are thrilled to be working towards the opening of our NEW PERFORMING ARTS CENTER! But don't worry, we aren’t moving far from our original location. Our beautiful new space is only 10 minutes away from the old studio and will feature three dance studios, a permanent theater with a 250 person seating capacity (including big comfy seats and designated ADS seating), a music room, three voice studios, a comfortable indoor lobby, a locker room, and a cafe! But we need your help!! This is a very expensive project and a few unavoidable hiccups have led to some significant cost increases.
Any donations over $500 will become a permanent star shaped plaque with your name on it on our new Hall Of Stars!!!
